‘No after-effects’ Kim Ha-Sung hits a grand slam in his return from injury
There were no after-effects.
Kim Ha-seong, who plays in Major 먹튀검증League Baseball (MLB), started at shortstop in the eighth inning of the 2023 MLB Baseball World Series against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York, U.S., on Monday (July 28) and hit a single.
Kim took a day off after being hit in the left knee by his own foul ball against the Washington Nationals on June 26. Immediately after the injury, he headed to the dugout to be assisted by trainers and was worried. X-rays revealed a bruise with no bone damage.
Kim struck out and walked in his first two at-bats. In the top of the seventh inning, with the score tied 1-1, Kim lined a single up the middle against Michael King. It was the game-winning run.
Kim continued to impress on defense. In the bottom of the first inning, he made a fantastic relay play to prevent another run from scoring. In the bottom of the fifth, he made a great throw to first base on a hit by leadoff hitter Kainer Palepa.
Meanwhile, San Diego fell behind 2-3 despite Kim’s offense. San Diego tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh. They gave up the game-winning hit in the bottom of the 10th inning. The Dodgers were hitless as a team with just three hits.
