Jeong Dong-hyun also took first place in the slalom event held the previous day (2nd). He ranked 21st, the highest ranking among Asian players who participated in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. This was the highest ranking among Korean athletes in the event in the history of the Winter Olympics.

The Far East Cup will be held on the 6th and 7th at Yongpyong Ski Resort in Gangwon-do.
