Four Gangwon golfers participate in OK Financial Group’s Shotman Open
The Korea Ladies Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour OK Financial Group Shotman Open (total prize money of 800 million won) will be held at Incheon Club 72 (par 72) for three days starting on the 15th.
Until last year, this competition was held under the name OK Financial Group Pak Se-ri Invitational, and this year, ‘Shitman’ was used in the name of the competition instead of Pak Se-ri. ‘Sutman’ is a character of OK Financial Group that was inspired by the fact that when the English word ‘OK’ is rotated 90 degrees clockwise, it looks similar to ‘Stt’.메이저사이트
The biggest factor to watch in this year’s competition is the match between the domestic and foreign factions. Kim Su-ji (27), who earned the nickname ‘Autumn Queen’ by winning the Hanwha Classic this season, will defend her title and go for her second win of the season.
Overseas players include So-yeon Ryu (33) and Jeong-eun Lee (27) of the LPGA Tour. Soyeon Ryu is already appearing in her fourth KLPGA Tour event this year alone, following the High1 Resort Women’s Open in August. Lee Jeong-eun, winner of this competition in 2017, is aiming to regain hegemony after six years. Sakura Yokomine (Japan), a veteran with a total of 23 wins on the Japan Women’s Professional Golf Tour, is also a recommended player and appears in a KLPGA tour event for the first time in a long time. Gangwon golfers include Lee Da-yeon (26) and Hwang Jeong-mi (24) from Wonju, Han Jin-seon (26) from Sokcho, and Lim Hee-jeong (23, Doosan Engineering & Construction) from Taebaek.
